The Gypsy Drifter and Gypsy Flights Rates & Rides
Private Charter Flight (or Sweetheart Flight):
Our private balloon flights are a unique experience and a personalized adventure designed for you and your guests. The balloon is all yours for the morning or afternoon flight - Personalized private adventures - 60 to 90 minute flights - Post-flight champagne picnic celebration - Attention to passenger special requests or requirements.

$550 The number of passengers, the date and location of your flight, and special requirements, may vary the price. A $100 deposit may be required when making reservations.
Group Flights
Gypsy Flights will help you to organize an event for a larger group of people. Arrangements can be made for additional balloons or a single larger balloon.
$150 per person Rates may vary depending on the flight requirements.

Marriage Proposal:
This special occasion requires special handling and treatment to make the perfect memory. You can pop the question while we float quietly at 6,000 feet (mile high proposal) or while drifting over scenic vineyards. How about a "Will you marry me?" sign on the roof of the chase vehicle to surprise the prospective bride or groom during the flight? A bouquet of roses will greet your sweetheart when we land, along with a romantic, private brunch. This flight may also be a celebration of a special anniversary. Call us to discuss your special plans. We've facilitated dozens of proposals - all successful so far!

Adventure:
Flights for Land Lovers:
If you've always dreamed of a balloon flight but have a fear of flying or heights, we have a flight adventure just for you. We'll set up a flight as close to the ground as you desire, skimming gently just inches above the earth. We will land in an instant if you say the word, but our experience tell us that you just might find yourself relaxing enough to go to the treetop level of beyond. Terrain flying is a special thrill that allows you to have all the excitement without the fear of leaving the earth too far below. You'll be our only passengers, on this flight, and your comfort is our only goal.
To The Horizon (Long Jump):
Loaded with fuel, a few supplies, and you and we're off to see where the wind may take us. There is no planned timeframe, there is no planned direction. Just us and the wind.
Sky Dive:
Sky dive from 5,000 or 6,000 feet. Experience a quiet windless takeoff, free-falling straight down. Our crew will be waiting for you on the ground to give you a ride back to our launch site. Weather permitting, a second flight may be possible.
Event Flights:
The Gypsy Drifter balloon participates in many hot-air balloon events and festivals in California and the western United States. You can join in the fun, be part of the crew, ride in the Gypsy Drifter during fun competitions, and join the tail-gate parties. We enjoy sharing our love of ballooning. Some events may require travel and overnight accommodations. Please contact us for event dates and details.

Tethered Rides:
Tethered balloon rides add fun and excitement to any event. Arrangements can be made for company picnics, charity events, weddings, family celebrations, and special events.
$500 first hour, $300 each additional hour Please contact us for quote and to discuss your requirements. Rates are dependent upon specific location requirements. A deposit may be required.

Corporate Event Promotion and Advertising:
The Gypsy Drifter, our colorful six-story tall balloon is an instant attention getter for your special event or promotion! A tethered balloon ride at your event is a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
While displaying your company’s logo banner, we can provide a static display, or tethered rides.
Banner advertising on a tethered balloon will bring attention to any special occasion. Banners from 4′ x 8′ to 16′ x 24′ can be attached to the balloon.
Banner Pricing: Depends on size and design or you may supply your own banner.

The Gypsy Drifter balloon has been in several TV productions, commercials, and educational films. The possibilities are endless.
The Gypsy Drifter has appeared in commercials for Round Table Pizza, educational programming on ESPN Sport Figures "Terminal Velocity," as well as television sit-coms.
The Gypsy Drifter also appears on the cover of the 2008 Yuma Arizona Visitor Guide.
